MISSION STATEMENT

ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES (ACF) is a self-help organization comprised of members concerned with the practices of the California Dependency and Family Court systems and the actions of the California Department of Social Services in protecting Children and Families.

We are concerned with the protection and safety of children first and the protection of the traditional and non-traditional family unit. In order to be helped, you MUST help yourself. We are here to help you help yourself, as you know your issues better than anyone.

We advocate social change to help children and families. This may include demonstrations, information exchange and political activities. We will provide legal self-help training sessions.
 

MONTHLY MEETINGS AND SUPPORT GROUP FOR PARENTS

We invite you to our monthly meeting. We are concerned parents who meet to look at the issues and solve problems. Our organization is only as good as its members so we listen to the concerns brought to us. We believe that with the help of others we can move forward to achieve justice for us all and to help encourage the changes, which must come peacefully to the system. The laws exist and must be followed. Those laws must be supplemented with new legislation to bring about fairness for all.

We meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at
Spoons Restaurant on the corner of El Camino and Fairoaks in Sunnyvale, CA. Join us.
