The Boat Dock

Monte Monte and Deck Hand with a 27 LB King - Click here for a better viewhas been on vacation the last couple of weeks and man was it fun! We took the kids tubing on Lake lewisville, shot a round of golf at Willow Springs, spent a couple of days on Lake Fairfield and Richland Chambers then topped off the festivities with an offshore fishing trip.

Monte was sorely dissapointed when Captain Elliotts cancelled an offshore trip. The call came 82 miles into our trip towards Freeport but these things happen now and again. The following week we managed to catch a few offshore aboard the Captain John out of Galveston where Monte caught the largest King Mackerel of the day at 27 pounds. Woohoo!! Son Will caught so many Red Snapper we lost count.

Monte The Storm that met us at the Ramp - Click here for a better viewalso managed a trip to Fairfield on June 10 and 11. We were finally able to launch Roys mamouth boat on Lake Fairfield thanks to the lake finally filling up and he proceeded to put us on a couple of Redfish and a seven pound flathead catfish. We also hit Richland Chambers for a couple of nice Hybrids too. On the tubing trip a thunder storm met us at the ramp when we loaded the boat and pelted us with pea sized hail. Ouch!
