Notes: Many of the above, when recovered, were olive to dark green. I think this is due to uptake of soot in the river, as they take on a more golden to orange color while in the aquarium. Which begs the question- What color do trout key in on? Nonetheless patterns in olive, gold, sand and orange seem to work well all season long in sizes #12-20
